He was born on August 20, 1943 in New Haven, CT., son of the late Antoinette and Robert Marler Sr. He was the beloved husband of Janice Marler for over 45 years. Loving father of Lauren Marler, Allison Fallon, and Victoria Marler. Cherished grandfather of Jason Cole, Julie Cole, Susanna Cole, Jaedyn Fallon, and Cameron Murdock.
